Gregory S. Bernabeo practices in all fields of intellectual property law with an emphasis on preparing and prosecuting patent applications in the mechanical, electromechanical and computer science arts. He is experienced in diverse technological areas including: distributed computing (including Internet, World Wide Web and networking technologies); computer software relating to e-commerce, GUIs and financial systems; Internet business models and other business methods; fiber optic, electrical and electronic connectors; healthcare and medical devices; industrial equipment; automotive components; office and consumer products; product packaging; hardware; and sporting goods. In addition to patent procurement, he is experienced in trademark and copyright registration, domain name dispute resolution (including ICANN's UDRP) and domain names sales and transfers. Mr. Bernabeo earned his undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University (B.S.M.E., cum laude, 1993), where he was named to the Tau Beta Pi national engineering honor society. He earned his law degree from the Villanova University School of Law (J.D., Phi Delta Phi, 1997) while simultaneously earning a master's degree in business administration from Villanova University's College of Commerce and Finance (M.B.A., 1997), where he was named to the Beta Gamma Sigma and Phi Kappa Phi national honor societies. Mr. Bernabeo is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, State of New Jersey and U.S. District Court for the State of New Jersey. He is a member of the Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Bar Associations and the Philadelphia Intellectual Property Law Association. Mr. Bernabeo joined Synnestvedt & Lechner LLP as a law clerk in 1995, became an associate in 1997 and joined the partnership in 2004.
